The Technology
BlinkConvert is powered by FFmpeg, the industry-standard multimedia framework, compiled to WebAssembly. This allows us to run powerful video and audio processing directly in your web browser, using your device's CPU.
WebAssembly (Wasm) is a binary instruction format that enables near-native performance for web applications. When you use BlinkConvert, you're running the same proven FFmpeg technology used by professionals worldwide, but entirely client-side.
